Three Nigerian stars, Chidera Ejuke, Akor Adams and Chrisantus Uche, will be involved on Monday (today) as Sevilla host Getafe in the last match-day two game of the 2025/26 La Liga season at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán Stadium.
Adams and Ejuke will hope to give Sevilla a glimmer of positivity and their first points of the campaign, against Getafe, who were powered to a win on opening day by Uche last week.
While the Sevilla duo could not rescue a point for their team during their 3-2 loss at Athletic Bilbao last week, Uche was a scorer and provider as Getafe secured a 2-0 win at Celta Vigo.
While Ejuke arrived in Spain last summer, Adams linked up in January. The former has two goals and one assist in his spell so far, while Adams is trusted to open his account this term after a slow start to life.
He got an assist in the 3-2 loss last week.
Meanwhile, Uche has been the subject of transfer interest across Europe this week, and the Azulones may be resigned to losing him due to the club’s own financial situation.
The 22-year-old midfielder recorded four goals and six assists last season, and he is up and running this term.
