The Jigawa State Police Command has arrested six suspects in connection with the theft of street lights and vandalism of high tension wires.
According to a statement made available in Dutse, the state capital by the state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Shiisu Adam, the suspects were arrested in two separate operations.
Adam said the first operation took place on February 26, 2025, at about 2:30 am, when two suspects, Sadik Sani, 18, and Ahmed Rabi’u, 19, were caught vandalising street light armoured cable wires.
