NECO accredits more schools in Equatorial Guinea for BECE, SSCE

The National Examinations Council announced that it has accredited more schools to write the Senior School Certificate Examination and the Basic Education Certificate Examination in Equatorial Guinea.

According to a statement issued by NECO’s Acting Director of Public Affairs, Azeez Sani, the newly accredited schools are located in Bata, the largest city in Equatorial Guinea.

The NECO Accreditation Team visited the schools to assess their readiness to write the SSCE and BECE.

“The Accreditation Team inspected Classrooms, Laboratories, Libraries, Computer Laboratories, workshops, Examination Halls, Sport facilities and Continuous Assessment as well as adequacy of teachers and school security to determine their suitability and readiness for NECO Examinations.
