Eagles B begin CHAN prep, know foes Jan 15

The Confederation of African Football has fixed Wednesday, January 15 for the draw ceremony of the 2024 African Nations Championship just as Nigeria’s 26 home-based stars will begin camping today at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne ahead of the tournament.

Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda, will host other African countries for the eighth edition of the tournament from February 1 – 28, 2025.

The draw will be held at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre, Nairobi, Kenya with 18 countries set to battle for the championship exclusively reserved for players plying their trade in the domestic leagues of the countries.

The qualified countries are; Morocco, Guinea, Senegal Mauritania, Niger, Burkina Faso, Nigeria, Central African Republic, Congo, DR Congo, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Sudan, Rwanda, Zambia, Angola and Madagascar.
