Mike Tyson is faced with a lawsuit exceeding $1.5 million from Cyprus-based company Medier, which claims the former heavyweight boxing champion unlawfully terminated a promotional contract to pursue a fight with Jake Paul.
Medier, which promotes the betting company Rabona, filed the lawsuit in London’s High Court against Tyson and his company, Tyrannic. According to the claim, Tyson ended the agreement in March, accusing Medier of breaching their January contract.
“The true reason for Mr. Tyson and Tyrannic’s hasty and unlawful termination was because Mr. Tyson had agreed a deal, sponsored by Netflix, to fight the influencer Jake Paul,” the lawsuit alleges
