Five suspects arraigned for stealing N25m Milo truck

Five men appeared before the Magistrate Court in Ota Ogun State for allegedly stealing a truckload of Milo products worth N25 million.

The defendants, Temidire Ramon, 35, Aminu Yusuf, 26; Olusola Opadare, 35; Oludayo Adeleye, 38, and Amodu Jimoh, 51, are standing trial on two counts of stealing and conspiracy.

The prosecutor, Insp E.O.Adaraloye, told the court that the defendants committed the offences on Oct.13, 2020, at Agbara in Ogun State.

The charge sheet reads, “That you, Temidire Ramon, Aminu Yusuf, Olusola Opadare Oludayo Adeleye, and Amodu Jimoh on October 13, 2020, at Agbara, Ogun State in the Ota Magisterial District, did conspire among yourselves to commit felony to wit: stealing and thereby committed an offence contrary to and punishable under Section 516 of the Criminal Law of Ogun State of Nigeria, 2006.-
