Banyana Banyana coach Desiree Ellis expects a hostile reception in Abuja when South Africa face Nigeria in the final round of the qualifiers for the women’s football event of the 2024 Paris Olympics.
The Super Falcons are set to take on the Banyana in a two-match series, with the first encounter slated for April 5 at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja and the return leg on April 9 at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria.
Ellis’s women have emerged favourites to pick one of the two tickets from Africa following the recent results between the two countries.
