Three-time Olympic champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce says she “owes” it to her family to retire after the 2024 Games. The 37-year-old, regarded as one of the greatest sprinters of all time, won the 100m title in 2008 and 2012.

Jamaican Fraser-Pryce also won Tokyo 2020 Olympic relay gold, plus three of her 10 world titles, in a comeback after giving birth to her son in 2017.

“There’s not a day I’m getting up to go practise and I’m like, ‘I’m over this,'” she said.
